Mint green: This season’s fresh trend

MINT GREEN

This shade is sure to brighten up all your looks this season!

In recent seasons, colours have taken over our wardrobes, regardless of the season. Pistachio green had its moment, just like tomato red before it. Buttery yellow shades followed. So what comes next after these food-inspired color trends? A cool palette of mint shades—clean, refreshing, and evoking freshness.

On the Spring/Summer 2025 runways, it replaced pink as the season’s signature pastel, featuring sheer fabrics and soft tonal combinations. At Fendi, we saw airy organza dresses, while at Chanel, tweed suits made an appearance. Meanwhile, designer Johanna Parv gave mint green a more functional, contemporary twist through sporty silhouettes.

Chanel’s approach, however, stood out, adding a more playful twist to the trend: from pumps in mint shades to bags in soft, “bubbly” colours, the palette extends to open-weave skirts, macramé belts, bouclé dresses, and classic tweed jackets. Amid a colour palette of reds, pinks, golds, and grays, mint green gave the ensembles a fresh and fun feel.

Although it’s a colour that can be tricky to style, when paired correctly, it’s truly striking.Romanticism and individuality are making a comeback, while the “clean girl” aesthetic seems to be on the decline. The mint green palette, whether in bolder looks or as a subtle accent, reflects the need for more expression and storytelling through clothing—something we’ll definitely be incorporating into the season’s upcoming looks.
