At the 2026 Oscars, spring pastels dominated the red carpet

But as the curtain falls on awards season at the 2026 Oscars, stars seem to be adopting a softer, more romantic approach to red-carpet dressing. With spring just around the corner, soft pastel shades are emerging as the favorite palette of Hollywood’s biggest stars. The Fall/Winter 2026 collections certainly provided plenty of inspiration for stylists: on the runways of Chanel, Chloé, and Acne Studios, we saw ethereal, pastel looks making their presence felt.

Infiniti, the star of the Oscar-nominated film *One Battle After Another*, chose a lilac ruffled dress by Louis Vuitton. Jones appeared in a classic, butter-yellow Prada, while Grace, on the other hand, exuded a strong sense of nostalgia for the ’90s and Gwyneth Paltrow’s style, choosing a soft pink, “princess-style” dress, which she paired with a diamond tennis necklace.
