New York Fashion Week has already shown us what next winter will look like
Aubergine is the new favorite colour for the Fall/Winter 2026-27 season, and we have all the details.
We already know the colour of next winter
As fashion month is in full swing, we are gradually getting small doses of the trends we will love next winter. New York Fashion Week has just ended, giving us a first glimpse of the colours for the Fall/Winter 2026-27 season. Everything points to aubergine making a strong comeback as one of the hottest colours, with the approval of fashion houses such as Carolina Herrera, Prabal Gurung, and Michael Kors.
Aubergine in every possible shade, from the coolest to the warmest approaching burgundy, took over the catwalks, colouring casual items such as knits, tailored suits, impressive coats, and dresses. A colour that certainly has the power to attract attention as it differs from black and brown, but is also versatile enough to balance an everyday wardrobe.
